Cake is a booking and business platform for tattoo artists. It lives at [cake.ink](https://cake.ink). I'm the CTO.

I build the app. It runs on Cloudflare: one Durable Object per artist as the source of truth, D1 as a thin index, R2 for media and consent PDFs. I build the marketing site too. Most of my week goes there.

Artists run their books out of a group chat and a paper diary. The interesting part is not the booking form. It's that a request has real states, and the artist's studio is the thing that owns them.
